Our lean muscle mass plays an essential role in maintaining our health and quality of life, especially as we grow older. In this session, we will explore ways to be proactive in preserving and building our muscle mass through resistance training. Whether it be using bands, weights, or body weight, we will discuss various strategies for increasing your muscle endurance, strength, and size. Opportunities for goal setting and making a plan in this area will be provided during the session.

Managing one's cholesterol plays an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular conditions. In this session, we explain what your cholesterol values mean for optimizing health. We will discuss how your food choices affect your cholesterol (or not) and learn about the benefits and risks of drug therapy.
