Starting your day with a healthy breakfast can be challenging depending on your schedule, appetite, personal preferences, and other circumstantial factors. In this session we will look at creative ways you can experiment with integrating a healthy breakfast into your diet.
Lack of nutrition knowledge can pose a significant challenge when it comes to practicing healthy eating and sustainable weight management. In this new 6-week course, we will help you develop a better foundation of nutrition principles as we explore the role of diet in the management and prevention of chronic medical conditions, the unique role of carbohydrates, protein, and fat as fuel sources for the body, as well as skills to help decipher misleading nutrition labels and make informed choices at the grocery store. Our goal is to help you build nutrition and food literacy skills that will empower you to develop your best diet.
This module is for registered participants only. If you have successfully registered for Session 1, your spot is secured for the rest of the module. You do not need to register for this session unless you need to update us on your medical conditions or you are making up a missed session.
Travel with your taste buds in our It's A Small World Meal Planning series. These meal planning sessions are specifically designed to help you incorporate tasty and healthy foods from various cuisines into your diet to make healthy eating more enjoyable and decrease the likelihood of dietary fatigue. This session will focus on Asian Cuisine.
