Description:

Living Life to the Full'' is an 8-week course run in conjunction with the Canadian Mental Health Association. It is counted as two 4-week modules. If you are interested in working towards bariatric surgery, then this course is mandatory for our bariatric stream. Everyone is welcome to register for this course but one must be able to commit to all 8 sessions. This is the first session of the 8-week LLTTF. Registering for Session 1 will secure you a spot for the rest of the module. You only need to register for other sessions if you would like to submit a progress check to update us on your medical conditions.

Please pay for the e-booklets upon registration and before the course starts or order the physical copy through CMHA directly. You will be receiving a login code to access digital booklets online. [6:45pm] Building A Healthy Outlook 1 (4-week module)
Description:

This module is for registered participants only. If you have successfully registered for Session 1, your spot is secured for the rest of the module. You do not need to register for this session unless you need to update us on your medical conditions or you are making up a missed session. This is the first session of the 4-week Building A Healthy Outlook module. Registering for Session 1 will secure you a spot for the rest of the module. You only need to register for Session 2, 3, and/or 4 if you would like to submit a progress check to update us on your medical conditions.

This course focuses on addressing some of the internal barriers that can make weight management difficult. Topics of the sessions include: Body Image & Body Positivity, Weight Bias & Self-Compassion, Cognitive Restructuring & Permission Thoughts, and Managing Head Hunger.
