| Description: | This is an optional 8 week course delivered by Dr. Lee-Baggley, Registered Clinical Psychologist. Studies suggest that most individuals in North America are sleep deprived. This has only gotten worse during the pandemic when most individuals report their sleep has been disturbed. There are well-documented effects of the impact of sleep on health, weight, well-being, mood, and quality of life. In this 8 week program, participants will learn evidence-based skills for improving sleep habits. This program will review the "what" of good sleep habits but more importantly will focus on "how" to start and stick to sleep-promoting behaviours. That is, using the science of behaviour change, this program will provide support for implementing and maintaining effective sleep habits. |
